PS3-Hacker GeoHot rappt in Video-Botschaft gegen Sony

Der bekannte PS3-Hacker George "Geohot" Hotz hat am Wochenende ein Video auf YouTube veröffentlicht, in dem er gekonnt gegen Sony und den laufenden Gerichtsstreit rappt. Der PS3-Hacker sendet mit dem Video den "Light it up contest" als Botschaft in die Welt des Internets. Das Video könnt ihr euch im unten angehängten Video-Stream anschauen. GeoHot und Sony befinden sich aktuell in einem Gerichtsstreit. Sony selbst hatte eine einstweilige Verfügung gegen GeoHot erwirkt. Nachdem GeoHot die Root-Keys der PlayStation 3 veröffentlichte, wurde ihm der Verstoß gegen den Digital Millennium Copyright Act vorgeworfen. Mit den Root-Keys ist es möglich, eigene Anwendungen (Homebrew) und Spiele auf der PlayStation 3 abzuspielen. Mit dem jüngst veröffentlichten PS3 Firmware-Update 3.56 wollte Sony dem Ganzen einen Riegel vorschieben. Allerdings ist das neue System-Update bereits nach nur wenigen Stunden gehackt worden.
